FIANL OUTCOME

Introduction

Welcome to the world of fishbowl follies! Embark on an adventure to find memories with your family and friends!    


Every little fish has their own memory castle, where they keep their memories safe so they won’t forget them. But one day, the fish wake up in a strange place, and their precious memories have become all mixed up and lost! They decide to go on a journey to recover their scattered memory  treasures.... 

COMPONENTS

  • 37 Normal Tiles - Normal Tiles are tles with just events

OBJECTIVE:
Complete one of your two goals by collecting the specified shells and bringing them both back to your castle.

SET UP

1 - Take the Board Tiles and set aside 12 to create your Refill Pile.


2 - Combine the rest of the Board Tiles and the Special Tiles, shuffling them face down. 

 

3 - Place the shuffled tiles face down in a 7x7 grid for 6 players or 6x6 for 5 players and place any extra tiles in the Refill Pile.


4 - Each Player picks a Goldfish Token and places it on the edge of the board. Take out special tiles the same color as any unused Goldfish Token

 

5 - Flip the tiles with the Goldfish Token face up.

    

6 - Shuffle the Goal Cards face down. Each player draws a Goal card. Don’t show other players your goals.

TO START

1. The oldest person goes fist. Take turn  counterclockwise

2. Roll the 4-sided die. Move your fish token to destination without flipping
   any tiles.
     • You can only move up, down, left and right.
     • You CANNOT move back and forth consecutively.
     • You CANNOT occupy the same space as another player


3. Flip the tile you landed on face up according to the arrow. Once no one is on a tile, flip the tile back. You can flip back the tile in any direction you like.


4. Your turn ends after flipping over a Board Tile and completing any events you landed on


5. Find your shells, or take other people's shells by dueling: refer to [Duel].


6. Bring both of your shells back to your Castle first to win!

SHELLS

• Shells are shapes that you collect based off of your goal cards.
• You must collect any shell you land on at the beginning before dueling.
• Collected special tiles are placed in front of you face up
• You can get rid of unwanted shells through dueling. Refer to [DUEL].
• When collecting shells, place the tile with the shell in front of you and replace the empty board space with an extra tile from the Refill Pile.
• You must stand on the same space after replacing the tile, but events are deactivated until the next player's turn.
• You can carry up to 2 shells at once.
• To drop off shells, land on the Castle matching your Goldfish token.
• You can only drop off shells that match your goal card.
• Once a shell has been dropped off in the Castle, flip the tile over. Your shell is now safe and cannot be taken from you.
• Drop off both shells of one goal to win!

 

DUEL

• You can challenge another player to a duel by landing around them (refer to image below.) You can decide if you want to initiate a duel or not.
• Both duel participants roll the die. The participant with the highest roll wins. If there is a tie, roll until one of you loses.
• You cannot duel the same person until at least 2 turns have passed.
• If both players have two shells, the winner can choose to switch a shell of their choice with the loser or make the opponent lose a turn.
• If the winner can carry another shell, they can either pick a shell to take or make the loser lose a turn.
• If the loser has no shells, they lose a turn.

Switch position with any other player; then challenge them to a duel: refer to [Duel].
When you and another player switch spaces but both are on an event space, only you get affected by the event. The sequence of action goes: switch, duel, activate effect on event space.

Move one less distance than the number you roll for 2 rounds. This 
effect does not stack (e.g. If you rolls a 3, you move 3-1=2 steps for now)

Roll the die. 
If your roll is 2 or more, move steps equal to your roll.
If your roll is less than 2, all other players move 1 step in any direction in turn order.

EVENTS (cont.)

PEEK

  • Peek event allows you to peek at tile. Don’t show other players while peeking.
